Orchid is a Project based company with a wide range of active projects for a number of different industries. In addition to our core permanent staff we maintain a database of Contractors. These are used to supplement Project teams as required. We are therefore always interested to receive details from individuals who are qualified in the following areas:

Technical Authors - all areas but particularly with experience in the IT, oil and gas, water, marine and the electronics industries. Desirable skills are AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, FrameMaker and Corel Draw.

Multimedia Designers/Developers - particularly with experience in any of the following: Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, LightWave, Premier, Director and CBT.

Web Designers/Developers - particularly with experience in integrating databases into Internet and Intranet solutions using ASP.NET, SQL and Visual Studio.

TECHNICAL AUTHOR OIL & GAS (Contract)
Royston + Travel (UK & Overseas)

We are currently bidding on several projects that will require experienced technical authors. These positions are to supplement existing project staff. Projects will be based in Royston, however some short term site visits, some overseas, may be required. Previous Operator or Design Engineer experience is an advantage.
