Learning Management Systems
A Learning Management System (LMS) is the system that manages the distribution of Computer Based Training (CBT) Modules to the Trainees. Typically, CBT Modules are loaded in to the LMS and then allocated to the relevant trainees. The trainees log in, via the LMS, in order to complete the training.
The LMS can usually be configured to track trainee progress, typically providing the following:
- A report indicating when trainees have started and completed CBT Training Modules.
- A record of the scores that trainees have achieved in any completed assessments.
