Orchid reviewed the existing Samson product Operating and Maintenance Manuals and in collaboration with Samson produced a standardised layout and structure for the manuals such that:

• As standalone manuals the manuals would meet the needs of customers outside the EC, enabling them to safely operate and maintain Samson products.
• As part of a Technical File the manuals would satisfy the manuals requirement of the European Machinery Directives.
